Share Your Passion - Yellow to Me Photo Contest 2006
After the successful Yellow to Me photo contest by Nikon early this year, they are bringing it back. And this time they won’t be doing it solo, they tied up with partner of no less than the National Geographic Channel.
Nikon Presents the second annual “Yellow to Me” Photo Contest this year in partnership with the National Geographic Channel for Asia and the Middle East region. Yellow is the signature colour of both Nikon and National Geographic Channel, representing Nikon’s innovation in imaging technology and National Geographic Channel’s heritage of exploration.
This year’s theme is “Share your passion“, and they are looking for original photos that express the passion that yellow inspires in you.
Period of submission is: October 23 - December 24, 2006
Criteria for Judging:
- Vivid illustration of Yellow
- Expressive passion/emotion
- Creativity and imagination
- Expressive storytelling
- Ability to capture a special moment
Awards:
- The “Yellow to Me” Grand Award
- The Passionate Expression Award
- The Best Storytelling Award
- The Best Captured Moment Award (2 Winners)
- The Rising Star Award (5 Winners)
Prizes:
Winners will get digital cameras from Nikon and various photography merchandise from National Geographic Channel.
