Confradia de Intramuros Grand Marian Festival
It is Intramuros at it’s most beautiful — the annual procession of carrozas (illuminated Marian floats) which celebrate the feast of the Immaculate Conception. Almost 100 decorated floats will snake it’s way around the walled city starting at the Plaza Roma. An absolutely awesome sight!
Fort Santiago will be open to the public (free of charge, no entrance fees) on December 3, 2006. The preparation of all participating carrozas will start in the morning and the procession will commence promptly at 3:00 p.m. in front of the Manila Cathedral and around Intramuros.
Please come early. The streets of Intramuros will be closed to vehicles starting at 12:00 noon.
