SLR Now Open for Membership

For those who still don’t have a camera club, Mon Castillo invites you to join the SLR Camera Club.

SLR or Samahan ng mga Litratista sa Rizal is a camera club based in Rizal, but membership is open to anybody. They meet regularly every first saturday in Innovatronix office, 3pm.

Their first meeting for the year will be on February 3 to honor the winners of last year’s contest.

For those interested, you are invited to observe the club. Please contact 6456124 or 6451598 or 09164467792 and look for KC.

Regular activities are as follows:

1. Monthly photo contest with prizes
2. Monthly lecture on photoshop and photo techniques complete with studio and LCD
projector
3. Out of town shoot 3 times per year
4. Annual Exhibit
5. Photo travel guide Book
6. Business advises

Financial obligations are as follows:
1. 1 time life membership fee of P500
2. P30/month to cover for the plaques and merienda

SLR is a top winning club with its members winning an average of P500,000 a year in
photo contest prizes. Many of our members also have their own studios. Their monthly
photo contest also have prizes solicited from our sponsors. Every month we award 3
framed certificates for the top 3 winners and free printing gift checks for the top 10. Last
year their top prizes were as follows:

1. Master Photographer 2006 - Canon Prosumer Camera donated by Canon
2. 1st Runnerup - Tronix Explorer power pack to make your studio flash mobile donated
by Innovatronix
3. 2nd runnerup - Tronix Ultralite power pack to make you printer mobile donated by
Innovatronix.

This year they are expecting bigger prizes for 2007
1. Master photographer 2007 - studio showcase to start your own studio business
2. 1st runnerup - Epson stand alone printer/ or Canon Selphy Printer
3. 2nd runnerup - Benro Monopod donated by Aperture Trading
