Intended primarily for aspiring food photographers, Lighting for Food Photography workshop discusses various aspect of photographing food, such as:

  • Determining the different purposes of food photography
  • Knowing the food photography team
  • Identifying the basic equipment necessary
  • Learning the basic techniques especially lighting

For those who would like to break into the food photography business, helpful tips on basic food styling and making the photographs fit for publication will be shared by guest speakers.

Requirement
Must have taken the Primer on Lighting workshop or equivalent; film-based/digital camera with manual exposure control; and exposure/light meter (optional)

Venue
Reading Room, Filipinas Heritage Library, Makati Avenue, Ayala Triangle, Makati City (across The Peninsula Manila)

Speaker
Jay Alonzo’s know-how in shooting for hotel, tourism, and restaurant businesses will surely benefit the participants of the class. In the last few years, he has serviced numerous food photography clients such as Pier One, Chili’s, Big Buddha, Superbowl of China, HapiLucky, Bali Blends Cafe, Pearl Manila Hotel, the Tivoli Mandarin Oriental, and Astoria Plaza.

Fee:
Workshop fee is P2,500 inclusive of film, handouts, meals, use of equipment and props, and certificate

Due to the limited slots available, please confirm attendance on or before February 15 by placing a P500.00 partial payment. A 10% discount will be extended to those who have already taken the Primer on Lighting workshop.
