Dennis Rito the Only Filipino Finalist in WHO Photo Contest
The World Health Organization (WHO) has been holding a global photo and video contest with the aim to promote the International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health (ICF).
The contest is now on its fourth year. This year’s photo contest is entitled Images of Health and Disability 2006-2007 with a special theme on Health and Environment.
The contest has four categories: : (1) Colour photographs; (2) Black and white photographs; (3) Digital Art photographs (images created or drastically manipulated by computer software or electronic filters); and (4) short video clips.
Dennis Rito is the only Filipino photographer included in the finalists in both the Colour photographs category and the Black and white photographs category.
