June 3, 2007 Product Photography Seminar
There will be a Product Photography Seminar at my studio on 03 June
2007 from 1pm-4pm. The facilitator and speaker for the seminar will be Cesar Caina.
I’ve personally known Cesar since 1990. He was one of the persons responsible for my training when I was still an apprentice at Chroma Philippines.
Cesar has shot numerous product shots for a variety of clients including Ayala Corporation, BPI, Rustan’s, Landbank & San Miguel Corporation just name a few.
The seminar will have two parts. The first part will be a lecture where Cesar will discuss how he shot certain product layouts for his clients. He will discuss considerations regarding the lighting, composition and technical aspects that goes into a product shot.
The second part of the seminar will be a demo and hands on shoot.
Participants will have the opportunity to shoot products (i.e. reflective objects, bottles, canned beverages, etc.) and will be guided by Cesar Caina.
The seminar fee of P4,000/participant is inclusive of a seminar handout and a certificate of attendance.
There are only ten (10) slot available.
The seminar will be held at Unit 114, Gold Building, 15 Annapolis street, Greenhills, SJ.
June 10, 2007 Basic Food Styling and Food Photography Seminar
There will be a BASIC FOOD STYLING AND FOOD PHOTOGRAPHY SEMINAR at my studio on 10 June 2007 from 1pm to 6pm. Learn the basics of food styling. This is a hands on course that will allow you to food style two dishes (pasta and salad). A guided photo session afterwards will allow you to photograph your creation.
The seminar only has eight (8) slots available.
The seminar fee of P3, 500.00/participant is already inclusive of ingredients, handouts and a certificate of attendance. Participants are required to bring a basic food styling kit, aprons and their own cameras.
Basic food styling kits may be ordered in advance for P1,500.00 or you may assemble one on your own.
The resource person for the food styling component of the seminar is Pixie Sevilla.
A 50% downpayment of the seminar fee (non-refundable) is required to confirm a slot reservation.

June 2 – Basic Theories and Principles of Photography June 9 – Composition Techniques June 16 – Basic Studio Lighting June 23 – Basic Photoshop June 30 – Basic Color Management and Guerilla Shooting TechniquesAll sessions shall be from 2pm-5pm.
There are only fifteen (15) slots available.
The seminar fee of P4, 500/participant is the total fee for all five sessions. All participants will receive handouts and a certificate of attendance.

There are only fifteen (15) slots available.

June 2007 Advanced Photography Seminar
June 6 – Composition & LightingJune 13 – Composition & LightingJune 20
– Composition & LightingJune 27 – Composition & LightingAll sessions shall be from 630pm-930pm.
All sessions will begin with case study discussions of certain shooting situations. All sessions will have a studio shooting session using various light sources and techniques. It is for this reason that the class is limited to a maximum of eight ( participants only.
Slot reservations are on a first come, first serve basis.
The seminar fee of P4, 500/participant is the total fee for all four sessions and is already inclusive of a certificate of attendance.
All seminar sessions will be held at Unit 114, Gold Building, 15 Annapoli street, Greenhills, SJ.
