Jose Enrique Soriano is a veteran photojournalist specializing in news and social documentary photography and portraiture.

He has travelled extensively around the world for short and long term photo assignments for photo agencies, magazines, newspapers and corporate clients, as well as for personal documentary work. His photographs have appeared in Life magazine, Newsweek, Vanity Fair, Ms., Self, Observer (London), Sunday Times (London), Elle (Singapore), Cleo (Singapore), 8 Days (Singapore) and Her World (Singapore).

For Jose Enrique Soriano, “Photography teaches me two things. First, it teaches me about people, and how they make my life richer. Second, it teaches me humility, because it’s a difficult craft. You intrude into other people’s lives - their agony, misery, joy - and no one has the right to do that. If you don’t have their consent, this kind of photography will slap you in the face.”
