EOS Utility 2.0b Updater for Windows Vista/Windows XP/Windows 2000

EOS Utility is software exclusively for EOS Digital cameras that combines all the functions involving communication with the camera.
This software accommodates features such as importing and viewing images on the computer by connecting the camera to the computer, using the remote shooting function, and controlling the camera from the computer to specify the camera settings.
EOS Digital users can install EOS Utility 2.0b using EOS Utility 2.0b Updater for Windows.

Important Note:

1. This software is exclusively for Windows Vista, Windows XP, and Windows 2000.
2. Although you can run EOS Utility 2.0b with ZoomBrowser EX or Digital Photo Professional, you will need the latest version of each application (updaters for each application are also available as separate downloads).
3. When updating, please make sure that at least one of the following applications is installed in your computer.
- EOS Utility
- EOS Viewer Utility
- File Viewer Utility
- CameraWindow DSLR
Or, if your computer runs Windows Vista, please ready the EOS Digital Solution Disk (the CD-ROM that came with your camera).

Changes in this version include:

1. The following features in EOS Utility 2.0a have been changed from the previous version of EOS Utility.

Installer bug fixes.
A bug that prevents the software from being installed in some environment has been fixed.
The change has been made only in the installer, and there are no changes in the software itself. If you use EOS Utility 2.0 for Windows already, please continue to use it as is. (It is not necessary to download or re-install.)

Digital Photo Professional 3.0.1a Updater for Windows

Digital Photo Professional 3.0.1a is software exclusively for editing and converting RAW images shot by EOS Digital cameras.
Users of EOS Digital cameras can install Digital Photo Professional 3.0.1a by downloading Digital Photo Professional 3.0.1a Updater for Windows.

Important Note:

Important

1. This software is exclusively for Windows Vista, Windows XP and Windows 2000.
2. Please make sure that at least one of the following applications is installed in your computer before downloading Digital Photo Professional 3.0.1a Updater for Windows.
- File Viewer Utility
- EOS Viewer Utility
- Digital Photo Professional
- RAW Image Task

Or, if your computer runs Windows Vista, please ready the EOS Digital Solution Disk (the CD-ROM that came with your camera).
3. When Digital Photo Professional 3.0.1a is installed, you cannot use EOS Capture. If you use the remote shooting function, please install EOS Utility 2.0 in your computer. (EOS Utility Updater can be downloaded separately.)

Restricted functions for Windows Vista only

• Trimming Tool, Quick Check Tool, prints with detailed settings or Contact Sheet Prints cannot be used.

Fixed problem

• When significantly adjusting the tone curve for RAW images taken with specific models (EOS 5D, EOS-1D Mark II N, EOS 30D, EOS Kiss Digital X/EOS DIGITAL REBEL XTi/EOS DIGITAL 400D, EOS-1D Mark III) and executing [Convert and Save] or [Batch Save], gradation was partially lost; but this problem has been fixed.
