The point-and-shoot special section is not just a camera guide, for the magazine is not and will never be another one of those gadget mags. Rather, we show readers not to be embarrassed if all they have is a P&S camera, and to prove our point publish some stunning photographs taken with a P&S. We also have a sensible guide for choosing the right P&S for you, a decision that should not based on pixel counts alone.

Hi Eric,
Most of my photographer friends have several photo folio/sharing sites that they use.
Majority had a pbase account (www.pbase.com) but a big chunk also availed of Flickr’s service. Multiply can also host unlimited number of photos without any storage restrictions. Do take note of Multiply’s TOS with regards to the use of the photos you upload to their site.
Another good community for artworks is deviantart (www.deviantart.com)
You can also try picasa but there isn’t much community feedback there unlike pbase, flickr and deviantart.
Some friends of mine have their own photo sharing services. Photonski.com is maintained by Tonton Rabena based in SG while Photo.net.ph is maintained by Anton Sheker who is based here in Manila.
