Kamikulay: A Multimedia Arts Exhibit

Wednesday, March 28th, 2007

“A collection of works from 15 multimedia artists specializing  in photography, video, illustration, animation and interactive media”

KAMIKULAY is a multimedia arts exhibit and installation of 15 student-artists from De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde (DLS-CSB), the first college in the country to offer the course. The exhibit will be held at Art Space-Glorietta, Ayala Center, Makati City, and will run from March 29 to April 1, 2007.

Freedom is greatly expressed with artistic works that showcase the artists’ creative impulses in different forms of media. Initially inspired by the style of graffiti and stencil art, their vision and creativity will burst forth to combine colors and images in harmony with their outstanding works.

Kamikulay: A Multimedia Arts Exhibit is a collection of works in photography, video, illustration, animation and interactive media. These young, talented and passionate artists define freedom of expression in a way that can be well-appreciated by everyone.

Kamikulay: A Multimedia Arts Exhibit is presented to you by the School of Design and Arts-Multimedia Arts Department (SDA-MMA) of DLS-CSB, Art Space-Glorietta, and Ayala Land Inc.

The Definitive Answer Why Canon is Better

Sunday, March 25th, 2007

Dave Deluria shared this with us over at PiPho.

Disclaimer: Parental Guidance is advised ;-)

This story is just hilarious. Try it with a Nikon ending and you’ll find out why.

The Smiths were unable to conceive children and decided to use a surrogate father to start their family.

On the day the proxy father was due to arrive, Mr. Smith kissed his wife good-bye and said, “Well, I’m off now, the man should be here soon.”

Half an hour later, just by chance, a door-to-door baby photographer happened to ring the doorbell, hoping to make a sale.

Good morning, Ma’am”, he said, “I’ve come to…”

Think Tank Rotation 360º Camera Bag

Sunday, March 25th, 2007

Think Tank Rotation 360 Camera Bag

The Think Tank Rotation 360º is for the photographer who is serious about comfort, quality, and quick access to gear. Once you get the hang of it, you’ll be hard-pressed to go back to a simple shoulder bag ever again.

This amazing new backpack lets you access the gear inside of the backpack without taking if off of your back. This allows you the comfort of a backpack with the convenience and accessibility of a beltpack.

The rotation360º exponentially increases your ability to access your gear as quickly as possible, with the least amount of effort to change lenses and access accessories. Then, just as easily, you can rotate the belt back back into the backpack and out of the way.

Check out what Jack Howard of Popular Photography has to say about this bag in his Think Tank Rotation 360º Review.

You might also want to check out the complete specs as well as video demo/tutorials on how to use this wonderful camera bag.
