Canon users have two reasons to celebrate this coming Wednesday, December 10, 2008 as Canon Philippines bring you Print Like a Pro Workshop with Jo Avila and Canon’s Club EOS very own Christmas Party at the Crocodile Grill (Greenbelt 3)!

Listen to Mr. Jo Avila as he talks about color management and printing processes & techniques from 5-7pm

Club EOS Christmas Party

Get to mingle with fellow EOS users amidst great food! The latest EOS Cameras, Lenses, and Accessories will be on display together with the latest PIXMA Printers. (7pm onwards)

You’ll need to bring your EOS camera to enter, plus you’ll need to be a Club EOS member. If you’re not yet one, then sign-up now – it’s free!

To register:
1) Log into Club EOS (http://www.canon.com.ph/clubeos/ – if not yet a member, kindly register)
2) Head on over to “Community” -> “Forum” -> “News, Announcements & Events”
3) Click on the “Print Like A Pro and Christmas Party” thread and sign up there.

The first 150 to confirm attendance through forum thread at the Club EOS website will be assured of a slot and the next 50 (151-200) will be waitlisted.

Special 2-Day Basic Photography Seminar by Jo Avila (June 15 and 22, 2008)

There will be a two-day photography seminar from June 15 & 22, 2008.  Topics to be discussed include Basic Photography Theories and Principles, Composition, Basic Studio Lighting and Flash Photography, Basic Photoshop and Basic Color Management and Inkjet Printing.

The schedule of topics to be discussed is as follows:

June 15, 2008 (9am-5pm)

  • Basic Theories & Principles of Photography
  • Composition
  • Basic Studio Lighting
  • Flash Photography

June 22, 2008 (9am-5pm)

  • Basic Photoshop
  • Basic Color Management & Inkjet Printing
  • Guerilla Shooting Techniques.

The seminar fee of P4,500/participant is inclusive of handouts, snacks, lunch and a certificate of attendance.

There are only twenty (20) slots available.

A 50% downpayment (non-refundable) via bank deposit will be required to secure a reservation.

All semninar sessions will be held at Unit 114, Gold Building, 15 Annapolis Street, Greenhills, SJ.

May 20, 2008 – Basic Color Management and Guerilla Shooting Techniques

All sessions shall be from 6:30PM-9:30PM.

There are only twenty (20) slots available.

The seminar fee of P4,000.00/participant is the total fee for all five sessions. All participants will receive handouts and a certificate of attendance.The seminar will be held at Unit 114, Gold Building, 15 Annapolis street, Greenhills, SJ.
