Canon Marketing (Philippines), Inc. joins Kadayawan sa Dabaw Festival 2008 by bringing you back the Canon Kadayawan sa Dabaw Photography Competition, now on its second year. Amazing prizes, such as digital video cameras, still cameras and printers, plus Plaques of Awrds await the top five winners.
Designed to delight always all its valued clients, this competition is made exclusive to Canon users–amateur and professional photographers from all over the country.

- Artistic Merit (15%)
- Originality of Concept (15%)
- Relevance (10%)
Important schedules and information are as follows:
- Registration Period: August 11-16, 2008
- Contest Period: August 18-24, 2008 (during Kadayawan sa Dabaw 2008)
- Subjects: any component event of Kadayawan sa Dabaw 2008)
- Last Day of Submission of Entry/Entries: August 26, 2008, 5:00 pm
- Exhibit and Awarding: TBA, during the September 2008 Tourism Month Celebration of the Department of Tourism-XI at a mall in Davao City
